After your visit

Please bring a completed health history, consent forms, and current medication/supplement form provided to you via e-mail.  

For Acupuncture, Shiatsu, and Thai Massage please wear loose-fitting, comfortable clothing that is convenient for accessing areas such as the arms, legs, abdomen and back of your body.  Avoid wearing any perfume, cologne, or scented lotions.  

Please communicate any skin sensitivities/allergies so I may have the appropriate oil/lotion/cream available.

Acupuncture & Other Modalities - Please eat a light meal prior to your appointment to prevent light-headedness or nausea.

Massage Therapy - Avoid eating two hours prior to session as it may be uncomfortable to receive manual therapy on a full stomach.

Please follow self-care instructions specific to the treatment provided to you. Any and all instruction will be sent via e-mail so that it is available at your convenience. 

Each individual will react to East Asian Medicine and Massage Therapy differently, please be patient and understanding of your body and mindful to what it may need.

Your First Visit

Please Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to appointment, any tardiness will affect length of appointment time.

Acupuncture & Other Modalities - Initial visits/ a year since last appointment will be 90 minutes. This allows for an in-depth intake where we will review your medical history. After completing a comprehensive intake we will discuss the appropriate treatment plan for you, including what modalities will be most effective. Followed by the agreed upon treatment plan. 

Massage Therapy - Each session is book with an additional 15 minutes to allow for a verbal intake and post treatment exercises/stretches, and any other recommendation. 


Booking & Forms of Payment - In order to book an appointment please be advised that a valid Credit Card is needed to hold all appointments. It will not be charged at the time of booking. Full payment is required at the time of service and payment is accepted via Cash, all major Credit Cards, and Debit Cards.  

Cancellation & Lateness - In fairness to both patient and practitioner there is a strict tardiness and cancellation policy. The appointment will end at the appointed time with respect to following patient time. Jessica holds a strict 24 hour cancellation policy. Any cancellation under 24 hours notice will be charged to the card used to hold the appointment.  

Insurance - At this time Jessica does not accept any insurance. If a patient has insurance coverage for Acupuncture she will provide a superbill for services rendered. It is up to the patient to inquire with their own insurance regarding their deductible, how many treatments allowed per year, what codes/ diagnosis is covered. Jessica will not be held responsible for any mis-information provided by patient regarding insurance reimbursement.
